What Troubles Me

Lack of self and mutual understanding.

Trendy political discourse employ grand narratives instead of trying to understand how people lived. Businesses don't know what they are doing except wanting more money. But more importantly, do you know what you want in your life? I didn't know much of it until recently.

I think there is an order to all of this. If representative democracy requires {voters to be educated about what personal freedom means and then compete for office} to be healthy, a society built upon consensus - mutual understanding - requires {people to share openly about what they need from each other and what emotions they have towards a certain topic} to exist. For that, around 54% of the population should be able to recognize their own emotions and share what they recognize.

What I see now is commonplace:

I don't see these behaviors as commonplace in a society founded on consensus. If we want to live in a such a society - at least I do - we can choose to start teaching people introspection now. If you want, you can write about how you came to realize your needs and learned to recognize your emotions. Then, publish the article. The more perspectives we have, the better. I need your help here.

I tried to understand everything and everyone; it's tiring. For me, this process is energy-constrained, not knowledge-constrained. It is much easier to throw violence at things and make things go away. Os it isn't as easy as teaching overyone this knowledge and hoping it to work. TK budget

Most often than not, people are given control over other people's lives when they can't afford to communicate with who they have power over - the reason may range from {they are overwhelmed} or {they have the capacity but simply don't want to}. Either way, you have a choice to make here. You can choose convenience and give them power over you, or, you can choose to only associate with those who can effectively have a conversation with you. When I can make such a choice, I tend to choose the latter one; I sometimes choose the former one too because the associated convenience is worth the pain. Yes, there are other options I can make here, which I consider "generally a stupid thing to do"; that's why I listed only two.

Information cannot flow freely.

Why can't commonfolk afford to have their own software? Why can't they access data directly? I need to do something about this.

Poverty because of [?].

"developed countries".

Still, some struggle to reach their full potential because they struggle to live.

I need more data on this.
